Your role at PFH:

As a Counselor Technician you are responsible for the providing direct and supportive care of clients; providing health monitoring, counseling, crisis intervention, training, supervision and facilitation of group counseling, educational and/or structured activities. You will:

  • Ensure that all program expectations and rules are adhered to, and report behaviors to supervisor, which will assist in client treatment.
  • Monitor and document client activities and general health conditions occurring on shifts that are relevant to client’s progress or behavior; including bed check documentation during overnight shifts. Ensure all clients are accounted for.
  • Participate in treatment plan by helping to identify client’s needs, problems and strengths.
  • Document and/or report any areas of concerns related to client’s behaviors/interactions in shift report and/or client record.
  • Adhere to weekly direct service model
  • Provide transportation for clients as needed

We think you’d be great for this role if you have:

  • ● High School education or equivalent and two (2) years responsible employment history;
  • ● The Missouri Substance Abuse Counselors Certification Board, Inc MAADC I or II
