Your Job:

As RN – Nurse Manager you will be responsible for supervision of LPNs and Behavioral Health Technicians, may provide supervision to Registered Nurses, oversight of Modified Medical Detoxification where applicable and providing nursing services to patients in behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Evaluation of the client’s physical condition and the need for detoxification services
  • Provide Oversight to LPNs/BHTs recording initial patient medical histories, taking vital signs as scheduled, and monitoring health status during detoxification
  • Complete disease prevention, risk reduction and reproductive health education.
  • Arranging medical appointments dealing with medical conditions that occur during treatment and managing medical emergencies, such as accidental injuries and drug reactions.
  • Conferring with a physician as necessary or advocating for medical services through managed care organizations.
  • Arranging or monitoring special dietary needs for medical conditions.

We think you’d be great for this role if you have the following:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Missouri with at least four (4) years of professional experience. Experience in the treatment or rehabilitation of substance use/ behavioral health disorders is preferred. At least two (2) years of supervisory/managerial experience in substance use/behavioral healthcare setting. BSN preferred.

Applicant must be willing to become licensed in additional states, other than the state currently licensed in. Applicant must be willing and comfortable with providing telehealth services to the individuals we serve.
