Your role at PFH:

As a Paramedic, you are responsible for providing medical services to patients in the Sobering Center, monitoring of vitals, assignment of Sobering Protocol level and responding to medical emergency situations to maintain a safe environment.

You will:

  • Document client activities occurring on shifts that are relevant to client’s progress or behavior. Screen and monitor clients to ensure that medical needs are being met.
  • Provide initial screening of incoming consumers for appropriateness for program
  • Collect vitals and other medical information necessary to assign a "level of care" for all incoming consumers
  • Assign bed/recliner as appropriate for consumer
  • Monitor consumers progress per protocol
  • Work with BHT and Medic I staff for ongoing monitoring of consumers condition

We think you’d be great for this role if you have:

    • High School education; OR equivalent
    • Licensed as a Paramedic in Missouri
    • One year of experience in paramedic position
    • Willing to work weekends
